Busy week ahead!

So I've just been looking at my schedule for this week and it's going to be a busy one! However I'm quite excited because this is a test for me to see how much I can actually accomplish and how well I can function after my hectic work days.

I've arranged a jamming session for tomorrow evening with my guitarist as we haven't had one in a few weeks which is shocking!

I'm gonna crack on with my writing this week and hopefully I'll write some interesting songs, possibly some about how tired I am but I guess everyone will be able to relate to those lyrics lool!

Today has flown by!

I arrived home from work and had to send a few emails...before I knew it, it was 9pm! I was like..."wait, what just happened?" I was actually so confused and couldn't believe how time had flown!

I've pretty much completed all my boring tasks and now it's songtime :)


My first session isn't until 12 so not only can I have a bit of a lie in, I have a chance to be uber productive!

From Bad to Good :)

My day didn't get off to the best start but it gradually got better!

Today I've been listening to some great songs that have given me ideas and inspiration.

It's kinda late but i'm gonna do some writing and then head to bed. Don't really have much to say...So I'll leave you with one of my tracks of the moment '1+1' By Beyonce...x

Songwriting!

This evening my aim is to find the instrumentals for a few songs that are in my favs list and start writing!

Im gonna start in about 30mins as I have to have a bath, do my washing and pack as I'll be heading to Liverpool this weekend  :)

Anywhoo, I'm going to crack with all my tasks and hopefully tomorrow I'll blog about the amazing songs I wrote lol....x

Finishing touches.

So I only just got back home after heading to the studio straight from work. I had a few finishing touches that I felt needed to made to a few the tracks that I had recorded and I wanted them sorted ASAP.

I'm really happy with how the songs have ended up :) and am looking forward to getting back in the studio and recording more!

Haven't had a chance to write any songs today but I have written down some ideas for songs.
Even though I have an intense day tomorrow, I do have some breaks where I won't be travelling so my plan is to get stuck in whenever I can!....x

Meltdown!

So occasionally I have a meltdown!  My meltdowns consist of an evaluation of my life and loads of tears but I always manage to come back round other side being as positive as ever!

I'm so glad that I have the support of my Family and close friends because they're always there to give advice, lend a helping hand and encourage me to pursue my dreams.

They give me the little kick I often need to get back on track :)

When I write songs, I record bits and pieces on either my phone or my mic so I don't forget the melody. My Brother is always insisting I send the files to him or at least share an audio on my blog but I never listen lol.

I was writing this evening and recorded what I wrote but I have no idea whatsoever how to upload an audio! I tried to make a video but its not working out. I've been trying for like an hour!!

I'll try and figure it out and get some audio's up ASAP :)

Rain please GO AWAY!

Today hasn't been too manic! I had a 5.30am which is still a challenge, it just seems so early!

The weather hasn't exactly been helping motivate me very much! Rain, rain, rain.... since sunday! I'm just so over this country.

I've set a plan for this week and I'm aiming to get through everything. Its definitely achievable, I just need to be consistent (which is a huge problem of mine!)

My first session isn't until 10am tomorrow so I don't need to rush to bed!

I have my pen and notebook beside me on my dresser...time to write...x
